About This Expedition

The Svalbard archipelago sits at 78°N, halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. It is one of the few places on Earth where polar bears outnumber humans — and where the ecosystem remains largely intact, a living laboratory for climate science.

Our 12-day voyage aboard MV TerraNova Spirit — an ice-class expedition vessel with a maximum capacity of 12 guests — navigates the western and northern coasts, following the pack ice edge and landing wherever conditions and wildlife demand.
